Football: Nepalese media buying agency Media Hub Private Limited acquired the rights in Nepal for the 2010 Fifa World Cup in a deal with ESPN Star Sports. Media Hub paid a reported NPR40m (€445,000/ $550,000) for the rights and hopes to earn some NPR60million from the deal. It has agreed deals with state broadcaster Nepal Television to show 39 of the 64 matches and with privately-owned Avenues TV to show all 64 matches.
